Congratulations Henry Hudson on 90 amazing years! Henry has made a distinguished contribution to Rotary over the past 35 years including as a charter member and president of our club and as a district governor. Henry has received many awards both within and outside Rotary for his contribution to the community. The club celebrated Henry's birthday with cake and afternoon tea. Thanks Jenny for organising a lovely afternoon.
 
 As well as being a charter member of our club, Henry was also a member of Drysdale RC and a charter member of Ocean Grove RC. He was a member of the College of Governors, the Scholars Sub Committee, the Science School Foundation Chair and a member of the Water Resource Group.  Henry has also been a staunch advocate for the Rotary Foundation.
 
Henry's contribution to Rotary has been recognised with the Avenue of Service Citation, Rotary Foundation Meritorious Service Citation, Paul Harris Sapphire Pin and he is also a Rotary Centurion.
 
Beyond Rotary, Henry founded the Maritime Museum of Queenscliff, was chairman of the Maritime Museum Board of Victoria and was involved in the University of the Third Age. In 2009 Henry received the Citizen of the Year Award for the Borough of Queenscliffe and in 2012 was awarded an OAM for service to museums, heritage preservation and the community.
